ACM’s Sexual Assault Services expands awareness and prevents trauma from sexual assault. ACM therapists are supportive of every client’s recovery. Our therapists are sensitive toward the feelings survivors may experience when they receive support and understand the courage it takes to speak out about abuse.

It is never too late for a victim to seek help. ACM offers victims safety, privacy, and confidentiality. Our services are free, flexible, and are provided by highly skilled therapists. Our therapists are trained to meet the needs of survivors and their families. They offer guidance in navigating the complex medical, legal, and social service systems. ACM’s therapists also facilitate support groups to reduce feelings of isolation, develop new coping skills, and teach self-care practices. Support from other survivors inspires new survivors to start the healing process. Our clients gain strength and confidence as they continue to heal.

What is Sexual Assault Services?

Sexual assault is any type of sexual activity, contact or behavior that happens without the consent of the victim or when the person is unable to give consent because their age, disability or level of intoxication. The victim of sexual abuse can be coerced, manipulated or forced. Sexual assault it is never the victim’s fault.
