Interested in obtaining skills to prepare you for employment? ACM collaboration with employers and community partners is vital to our participants’ success. We partner with large, small business, and career centers to provide job placement and employment assistance services.  ACM’s skilled career specialists use a person-centered approach to services, taking into consideration the individuals’ preferences and interests when planning for services. 

Employment Case Management and Job Readiness Training

ACM Job Readiness training program offers:

  • Resume and cover letter preparation assistance
  • Job search assistance
  • Interview preparation
  • Overview of U.S. work culture for immigrants and refugees. 

We also provide employment case management to our clients who are unemployed or underemployed and are experiencing housing instability. Our services include:

  • Job search and placement assistance
  • Job retention services, such as mediation and conflict-resolution
  • Transportation assistance referral 
  • Referrals to help clients meet their basic needs (food, housing, transportation, and other social services)

Basic Career Services

ACM Career and Employment Information Services help members explore the career, employment and training options available to them. Services offered by ACM includes:

  • Assessments to gather information, identify issues and clarify personal and environmental resources to assist with making informed career and employment decisions.
  • Provide individualized services that allow for one-on-one work with a career coach and opportunities such as on-the-job training, skills upgrade, job search assistance.
  • Experience in serving job seekers with greater need, such as those who:
    • Have a disability
    • Are low income or receive public assistance
    • Have experienced involvement in the justice system
    • Have any other barrier to education or employment

We offer a wide range of training referrals to fit your needs and prepare you for a job in an in-demand industry.

We work with multiple qualified training providers who offer education in the classroom, online and through apprenticeships to help you learn new skills and enter a meaningful career. Trainings leads to jobs such as dental assistant, veterinarian technician, security officer, cybersecurity support technician, truck driver and much, much more.
